Katja Wachter is the Sustainability Program Manager at EcoVadis, where she drives the company’s sustainability strategy with a strong focus on decarbonization, sustainable procurement, and sustainability reporting. In her role, she ensures the company leads by example and integrates sustainability as a key driver for corporate success. She has established an award-winning decarbonization program and successfully launched the company’s inaugural CSRD report in 2024, positioning EcoVadis ahead of regulatory requirements. Drawing on a unique background in Business Management, including five years managing high-volume theme parks and tourism venues, she is passionate about translating sustainability principles and regulations into actionable business strategies. In 2025, Katja’s work was recognized with a nomination to the Coolset Future 15, a list celebrating impactful sustainability leaders who actively shape the future in their fields.
