Dr. rer. nat. Daniel Dahm is the founder and managing director of United Sustainability Group, which targets the build-up of our common infrastructural and natural foundations of life and the establishment of a re:generative economy. Daniel is a Member of the Club of Rome Germany and the Association of German Scientists (VDW), Spokesperson of the Supervisory Board of the Aurelia Foundation, Councillor of the World Future Council, and Advisory Board Member of the DIN Standards Committee Finance (NAFin) of the German Institute for Standardisation (DIN) and the DIN Expert Forum ‘Sustainable Finance’. He is also Chairman of the Jury of the Internorga Future Prize of Hamburg Messe & Congress. Table.Media names him one of the 10 most important figures in sustainability for society in 2024, and again in 2025 for the economy.

Considered a pioneer of the issues surrounding a regenerative economy and finance, and their political and cultural prerequisites, he stands for a high level of expertise in the development of sustainable financial instruments and strategies and the strictest demands on the sustainability of investments.

As a member and scientific director of the Ethical-Ecological Rating Research Group at Goethe University Frankfurt a.M., he was involved in the development of the world’s first sustainability rating for financial investments, the “Frankfurt-Hohenheim Guidelines to Ethical-Ecological Rating of Investments and Companies”, and campaigned for sustainable financial market regulations and competition rules. As an appointed expert, he has conducted professional events on these topics with members of the German Bundestag, companies and trade associations, foundations and public institutions.
