Daniel worked for more than 15 years in sustainability before founding DSR & Partners, a boutique consultancy focused on climate adaptation. He helps companies quantify climate risks and costs of resilience – and set up the right processes and governance in order to advance adaptation.

He initiated the first Corporate Climate Adaptation Conference and the Adaptation Tech Award, which he now co-host with the Handelsblatt. Daniel writes regularly on the topic – for example about start-ups in his Adaptation10 Newsletter, or about emerging insurance trends together with Allianz Commercial in AdaptNow.
He drives the dialogue between business, science, and policy towards “Climate Ambidexterity” – the need to manage mitigation and adaptation differently, but connected and evenly distributed.
