Prof. Dr. Christopher Grieben is Professor of Health Management and Academic Director of the Waldshut Campus at the Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM), Germany. He studied and earned his doctorate at the German Sport University Cologne, where he worked in research and teaching for over ten years.

His research focuses on the development and evaluation of digital and hybrid approaches to prevention and health promotion, as well as health and esports research. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 scientific publications and serves as a board member of the German Society for Prevention (GPeV) and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Esports Federation (ESBD). He has received several awards for his innovative and practice-oriented teaching, most recently the FHM Teaching Award in 2026.
