Dr. Ulla Weber has been active for many years in a wide variety of areas of gender and diversity studies and policy. She is an expert in diversity equality monitoring and in developing and implementing diversity standards. Her positions before joining the Max Planck Society have included roles at the Gender Center of the Technical University of Munich, the Institute of Education at the Technical University of Berlin, and the EAF Berlin – Diversity in Leadership. In addition to her master’s degree in Slavic languages and media studies and her Ph.D. in educational sciences, Ulla Weber is certified as a systemic coach (IfW Munich, DGSF). She is chairwoman of the Alliance of Gender Equality Officers at Non-University Research Organizations and a board member of kompetenzz e.V.
